Airbus Helicopters prepares to showcase its comprehensive range of rotary-wing products and technologies at next week’s Rotorcraft Asia. The inaugural tradeshow, dedicated to the growing Asia-Pacific helicopter market, will take place at Singapore’s Changi Exhibition Centre April 18-20, 2017.

Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, and United Rotorcraft announce the delivery of a Bell 429 to Reignwood Investment, Ltd., (Reignwood). The aircraft will serve as the first Bell helicopter for emergency medical service (HEMS) missions in China.

With an ongoing focus on worldwide fleet management and customer-focused support, Eagle announces the appointment of Wesley (Wes) Semeniuk to the role of customer service manager (CSM). With over 10 years’ experience at Eagle, Semeniuk has advanced his career from an apprentice aircraft maintenance engineer to maintenance lead hand. His tenure, extensive knowledge of Bell Medium aircraft, and natural ability to professionally interface with customers make him the ideal choice to fill the important CSM role.

IAC Ltd. moves its operations to a 53,000+ square-foot facility in northwest Fort Worth, TX. IAC specializes in helicopter main- and tail-rotor blade inspection, repair, engineering and materials testing.

Columbia Helicopters earns its fifth consecutive Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) AMT Employer Diamond Award of Excellence for its aviation maintenance technician (AMT) training program. Portland, OR-based Columbia Helicopters has received the annual award 14 times in the past 21 years.

Delivery of the aircraft on order is scheduled to begin in mid-2017 with deployment into emergency medical service and other parapublic segments.

Eastman Aviation Solutions announces it is exhibiting at the Helicopter Association International (HAI) HELI-EXPO 2017, Booth #7244, March 6-9, 2017. Eastman is returning to HAI to showcase Eastman Turbo Oil products and the benefits of HPC oils on rotorcraft engine.

Cadorath adds to its extensive list of OEM-approved and extended repairs currently offered with the addition of the Honeywell T53 engine line, granted under license authorization by Honeywell Aerospace. This authorization’s territorial coverage is world-wide excluding Japan.

Hawker Pacific, an aviation solutions provider in Asia, Pacific and the Middle East, confirms the highly anticipated Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) certification of the new Bell 505 Jet Ranger X Helicopter. The milestone makes Australia the first country to be awarded certification for the Bell 505 following the initial type certificate being issued in Canada.

Donaldson Aerospace & Defense, a division of Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE: DCI), develops the first inlet barrier filter (IBF) for the Robinson R66 Turbine helicopter. Certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Feb. 24 as an addition to Robinson’s R66 type certificate, the IBF will be available as a factory option from Robinson Helicopter Company, authorized Robinson Service Centers, or Donaldson.

Spectrum Aeromed announces the company plans to celebrate the completion of its 25th year in business with a contest at HAI HELI-EXPO in Dallas from March 7-9. 

Precision Aviation Group, Inc. (PAG), a provider of products and value-added services to the worldwide aerospace and defense industry, announces it has increased its available inventory by $4.1 million, raising the cost of its total inventory to over $39.4 million with over 100,000 line items.

The significant milestone proves the super-medium-sized rotorcraft’s capabilities and reliability in highly demanding operations, especially the transportation of personnel and supplies to offshore oil and gas platforms.

Airbus Helicopters receives an order from the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) to retrofit 26 CH-53 heavy transport helicopters. This contract will cover obsolescence management for components that are no longer available on the market and will begin by replacing them with up-to-date parts.

Eagle Copters Ltd. is ready to deliver a second Eagle 407HP helicopter to Helicopter Express. The Atlanta‐based operator will use the helicopter to support firefighting missions throughout the United States. The formal delivery of the aircraft will made during the Helicopter Association International Heli‐Expo show in Dallas, March 6‐9.

Alpine Aerotech announces the continued and evolving support of the Bell 429.

Two AgustaWestland AW189 super-medium, twin-engine helicopters operated by Bel Air of Denmark exceed 6000 flight hours as of January, setting a new milestone while demonstrating exceptional availability and mission effectiveness performing long-range, offshore, transport missions in the North Sea. The result was possible through the cooperation of the operator and Leonardo’s customer support team.
